State Bar of Texas · Serving El Paso County & surrounding areas
“Most legal problems don’t need a courtroom. They need someone who knows the paperwork, the deadlines, and the clerk’s window — and gets it done right the first time.”— Robert Andrew Navar, Esq.

One El Paso attorney, every everyday legal need.
Most people only call a lawyer when something goes wrong in court. But the legal work that actually shapes a family’s life rarely happens in a courtroom: the will that keeps a house in the family, the deed that avoids probate, the expunction that clears a background check, the N-400 that becomes citizenship, the LLC that protects a new business. This practice was built around exactly that work — the documents, filings and negotiations that resolve a problem before it ever becomes a lawsuit.
Attorney Robert Navar is an El Paso native who came back after law school to practice in his hometown. After more than ten years appearing regularly in El Paso Municipal Court, the Justice of the Peace precincts and the County and District Courts, he knows which matters truly require a judge and which do not. That is the promise on every page of this site: we tell you up front whether you will ever need to appear, quote a flat fee before work begins, and handle the process in English or Spanish.

How we work
Flat fees, quoted before we start
Wills, deeds, name changes, expunctions, LLCs and letters are all quoted at a flat fee in writing. Injury cases are contingency — no attorney’s fee unless we recover (case expenses may still apply). No hourly surprises.
Court-appearance honesty
Every service page tells you whether you appear never, once by Zoom, or for one short hearing that we handle. If a matter needs a courtroom, we say so before you hire us.
Plain English. Español claro.
You will understand every document you sign and every deadline that applies. The whole office — intake, documents, consultations — works in English and Spanish.
How it works
Call or send a message
A 5-minute conversation is enough to understand your situation and quote a flat fee. Area code 915 — we are local, and we answer.
We prepare and file
We draft the documents, gather what the clerk, USCIS or the Secretary of State requires, and file. You review and sign — usually in one visit or electronically.
Resolved, with a copy in hand
Order signed, deed recorded, record cleared, application approved. We tell you exactly what happened and what, if anything, comes next.
We know El Paso — its courts, its clerks, its border.
Robert Navar was born and raised in El Paso and came back after law school to practice here. More than a decade of regular work in the El Paso County courthouse means we know the probate courts, the district clerk’s filing windows, the County Clerk’s recording desk and the USCIS El Paso Field Office the way you know your own neighborhood.
That local knowledge is what turns a legal errand into a finished result: which JP precinct a warrant sits in, which deed avoids probate on a Lower Valley home, what the consulate in Ciudad Juárez will ask for, and how long the Texas Secretary of State actually takes on an LLC this month.

Common questions about the Law Office of Robert Navar
Do I really not have to go to court?
For most of what we do — wills, deeds, trusts, expunctions, immigration filings, business formation, contracts, demand letters, injury settlements — there is no court appearance at all. A few matters (adult name change, uncontested divorce, muniment of title, stepparent adoption) require one brief hearing, often by Zoom, that we schedule and handle. Every service page says which applies.
How much do your services cost?
Document and filing services are quoted at a flat fee in writing before any work starts, plus government filing costs, which we list separately. Personal injury cases are handled on a contingency fee: no attorney’s fee unless we recover money for you. If there is no recovery you owe no attorney’s fee, although you may be responsible for case expenses such as court costs, records and expert fees, which we explain in writing before you sign. Call (915) 526-0787 for a quote on your specific matter.
Do you handle everything in Spanish?
Yes. Consultations, documents, forms and every conversation with the office are available in Spanish. Court filings and government forms are prepared in English as required, and we walk you through every line.
What if my problem is not on this site?
Call anyway. Many matters overlap — a probate that needs a deed, a business sale that needs a lease, an immigration case that needs a record cleared. If a matter is outside what we handle, we will tell you honestly before you hire us.
Where is the office and how fast do you respond?
We are at 11860 Vista Del Sol, El Paso, TX 79935, on the East Side. We respond promptly, usually the same business day; most flat-fee documents are ready for signature within days, and we tell you the realistic timeline for anything filed with a court or agency.
